지역의 춤문화 발전을 위한 백제춤의 문화적 가치

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국춤의 역사를 지역적으로 살펴보면 충청도지역, 과거 백제의 춤에 대한 기록이나 전승되는 춤을 찾아보기 힘들다. 백제는 한반도에서 최초로 불교문화를 받아들였던 곳이며, 옛 왕국의 수도지였던 지역임에도 불구하고 이렇다 할 무용역사를 확보하지 못한 곳이 충청지역이다. 본 연구는 백제의 춤문화의 원류를 찾아보고, 그것을 통해 충청도지역 춤의 의미와 가치를 탐색하고자 한다. 그 결과 백제의 춤문화적 특징으로는 지리적 풍토적 영향으로 비교적 춤이 부드럽고 단아한 것을 알 수 있다. 백제는 모든 문화가 남조의 영향하에 있었기에 남조시대에 유행한 꽃문양에 영향을 받아 불교문화에 걸맞는 연꽃문양이 유행한 것으로 보아 춤역시 불교와 관련된 춤이 성행하였을 것으로 추측해 볼 수 있다. 또한 당시 불상이나 동자상에서 보여지는 통통한 몸매와 완만한 곡선으로 표현된 복식에서 당시의 춤 역시 빠른 동작보다는 느리고 여유로운 춤이었을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Looking back the history of the Korean traditional dance from the regional view point, it is very hard to find the historical records on or transmission of the traditional dance from Baekjae dynasty, i.e., Chungcheong province. Although the Baekjae adopted the Buddhist culture first in the Korea Peninsula, and Chungcheon province was the capital area of her, but they has not had distinguishable dance history of her own.
The purpose of this study is to survey the root of the traditional dance of the Baekjae dynasty, and also the meaning and value of the Dance of Chungcheon province.
As a result, the characteristic of dance culture of the Baekjae is soft and elegant comparably due to the regional climatic influence. Since the Baekjae culture was influenced by the Southern China in which the flower pattern was one of the fashion trend, the Lotus flower pattern was a fashion trend of the Baekjae due to the Buddist cultural influence. This fact provided a clue that the Baekjae dance style might be strongly related with the Buddhism. And also, the Buddhist Sculpture of Young Monk wearing plump and gentle curve costume indicated that the dance style might be slow and relax rather than fast tempo style.
