초고층 주상복합개발사업의 개선방안에 관한 연구 : 서울을 중심으로 = (A) Study on the Improvement of Super High-rise Mixed-use building Development

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

High-rising buildings are a sort of solution to recent large cities like Seoul. Till now real estate development was concentrated in new development on vacant lots, and it resulted urban sprawl. Generally large cities are confronted with the exodus of industry and population from city, especially CBD. High-rised buildings solve many problems associated with this problem.
In this study many examples of high-rised buildings in Seoul was reviewed, and many proposals to improve that kind of industry and politics are suggested.
The main theme of the suggestions are to prevent unefficient and wasteful development of high-rising buildings. Such structures are built-environment of our age and our descendants. To achieve that goal many technological considerations must be mingled with urban planning means.
As this study is restricted on the examples of Seoul more and close review of nationwide examples are required, because most particular feature of real estate is its locality. After that politics must also pass through in-depth review.
