Therefore, we analysis protocols such as ARCnet, CAN, MAP, Field Bus and SCRAMnet + in terms of real - time capability and guarantee of high reliability. Although these protocols adapt protocol schemes for real - time and deterministic communication characteristic in nature, one needs thoughtful selecting criteria for high reliable applications such as nuclear power plant and time critical manufacturing plants.
