조선후기 왕실 연향용 주기(酒器)의 종류와 운용체계 -의궤의 기용도(器用圖) 분석을 중심으로- = THE TYPES AND OPERATION SYSTEMS OF THE LIQUOR VESSELS FOR ROYAL BANQUET IN THE LATE JOSEON DYNASTY: FOCUSED ON THE ANALYSIS OF UIGWE'S GIYONGDO

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 조선후기 왕실 연향용 주기가 구성된 배경, 종류와 조형 그리고 소비와 수급체계를 살펴본 논문이다. 현전하는 유물이 드문 연향용 주기를 조사하기 위해 조선후기 의궤 기용도를 주로 분석하였으며, 이를 통해 당시 공예문화에서 주기가 갖는 성격과 의미를 파악했다. 주기는 왕실 연향을 상징하는 기물이라고 할 수 있는데, 왕실 연향 절차에서 진작하는 순간이 의례의 핵심이고 왕실 구성원의 위차를 예를 통해 드러내는 중요한 기회이자 수단이기 때문이다. 조사 결과, 조선후기 연향의궤 속 기용도의 시작은 조선전기 국가전례서의 준작도설에서 찾을 수 있었다. 또 의궤 속 주기 중에서 잔이 가장 많은 수를 차지하고 있으며 그 명칭의 수가 총 34개에 이를 만큼 다양하다. 각각의 명칭 안에는 기종, 구성, 재질, 장식 등의 풍부한 정보들이 조합되어 있다. 그 중에서 서배와 옥잔은 잔의 위계에서 핵심을 차지하고 있다. 연향용 주기의 공급과 사용양상에 대해 살펴본 결과 내하, 호조, 상의원 그리고 주원 등에서 주기가 조달되었다. 그리고 참석자의 위계에 따라 주기의 종류, 재질, 색 등이 엄격하게 구분되는데, 이에 비해 다정과 시접반의 기물들은 참석자 간 큰 차이가 없다는 점에서 대조된다.

This article is a thesis that examines the background, types and format, and consumption and supply and demand systems of the liquor vessels of the royal family during the late Joseon Dynasty. As a result of the survey, the beginning of Kiyongdo in the Yeonhyangui-gwe in the late Joseon Dynasty was found in the Junjackdosul of the national rituals in the early Joseon period. In addition, cups occupy the largest number of cycles in Uigwe, and the names are varied enough to reach a total of 34. In each name, the information such as model, composition, material, decoration, etc. are combined. Among them, Seobae and Okzan occupy the core in the hierarchy of the cup. As a result of examining the supply and usage patterns of liquor vessels, the liquor vessels were supplied from Nae-Ha, Hojo, Sanguiwon and Juwon. In addition, the type, material, and color of the liquor vessels are strictly classified according to the hierarchy of the participants.
