Recent development in the new technologies have stimulated the advent of the newly developed medical devices. Actually, there is not enough experts and evaluation system for clinical trial. Even though current procedure system for medical device clinical trial was formulated well, it is urgent to set up procedures for efficient clinical trial due to a wide variety of medical devices. Also evaluation guideline of clinical trial for domestic medical devices is needed above all things as evaluation system was applied separately without accurate standard. This study aims to raising the international level of reliability in the domestic clinical trial and supporting actual production of new developed medical devices through preparation for clinical trial protocols including obesity, removal of wrinkles, and dental implant and evaluation guideline applied by statistical techniques allowed for characteristics of medical devices. To develop clinical trial protocols regard to domestic market condition and characteristics of medical devices, this study shows the guideline of appropriate number of subjects, acquisition of written consents, and guideline of subjects protection, surgical operation, and clinical trial evaluation. To answer the above requests, we measured the study on researchers and organizations from domestic medical device companies, current condition of domestic medical device market, and several internal and external clinical trial cases. In this study, we have shown the guideline of clinical trial protocol including the standard of subject selection and rejection, calculation and evaluation of the number of subjects, evaluation methods of availability, and others. Protocol of obesity treatment by medical low frequency devices attached importance to the study on evaluation of subjects safety, development of subject protection equipment, and validity variables. The result of this study presents that protocol should aim to not obesity treatment but body fat reduction, muscles increase, and waist measurement contraction. In case of wrinkle removal by sutures and 결찰사, we provided patients with notification preliminary to medical treatment, written consents, available complications, comparison method of front and rear operation. In case of dental implant, we suggested subject selection on that case of incisors/molars, maxillary/mandibular teeth, and split mouth model, the number of subjects, evaluation method, fracture elements, and prosthesis combination, and standard of survey on patient satisfaction. According to the characteristics of each disease, this study presented appropriate number of subjects and evaluation methods allowed by statistical techniques. And final report would be included sample of clinical trial protocol by means of protocol by means of protocol standardization.
