The purpose of this study is to explore the reality of regional behavioral intervention support centers and ways to develop them to support the special education field by listening to the experiences and opinions of staff members in charge of these centers. For this purpose, it analyzed the results of interviews with eight staff members in charge of regional behavioral intervention support centers established in four metropolitan cities and provinces across the country. The analysis of the data collected through the interviews in this study revealed 3 upper categories and 13 lower categories: 'Operation status of Regional Centers', 'Concerns and Difficulties in Operating Regional Centers', and 'Development plan for Regional Center for the Well-being of All'. The results of this study confirmed that regional centers play an important role in supporting behavioral intervention in the Korean special education field, but at the same time, they face various difficulties and challenges. The discussion covered institutional improvement, manpower training, strengthening field support, and establishing an information sharing system for regional centers to develop into a smooth behavioral intervention support system in the special education field.
