초등학생의 자기효능감 , 창의력 성격과 창의성과의 관계 = The Relationships between Self-Efficacy , Creative Personality and Creativity of the Elementary School Students

The purposes of this study are twofold; the first purpose is to identify the relationship between self-efficacy and creativity, and the second is to clarify whether the creative personality, like self-efficacy, can explain the variance of creativity. Subjects of this study were 231 elementary school students, all of them were 5th or 6th grade. Self-Efficacy Scale and Creative Personality Test were administered on the first day, and Scores of Torrance Test of Creative Thinking(TTCT) were gathered on the second day. The major findings of this study were as follows; First, although there were not high correlations(r=about .20) between self-efficacy and creativity, researchers could find statistically significant differences between high self-efficacy group and low self-efficacy group on the creativity scores. Second, there were very significant correlations between self-efficacy and creative personality, but creative personality explained more portions of variances of creativity scores than self-efficacy. According to these two major results, researchers concluded that if creativity -specific self-efficacy test be developed, one could identify the relationships between self-efficacy and creativity more clearly and the validity of self-efficacy theory could become more sound theory.
