고등학교 교과서의 서사이론에 대한 비판적 고찰 ― 제7차 교육과정 문학교과서의 ‘구성’을 중심으로 ― = The Study on the Plot in the Literature Textbook

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 7차 교육과정 문학교과서에 실려 있는 서사이론 중 ‘구성’에 관하여 비판적으로 검토하고 개선의 방향을 모색하는 데 있다. 교과서의 구성에 대한 설명의 문제는, 모순되는 서술이 공존하거나 모호한 용어가 빈번히 사용되고 있다는 점에 있다. 이러한 모순된 서술이나 모호한 용어의 사용은 단순한 문제가 아니다. 그것은 근본적으로 구성의 개념에 대한 혼란을 초래함으로써 학습자의 이해에 장애가 될 수 있기 때문이다. 이러한 문제의 근원에는 두 가지의 커다란 문제가 있다. 첫째는 포스터의 구성에 대한 논의를 반성 없이 그대로 수용한다는 점이며, 둘째는 구조주의 이론을 수용하는 과정에서 발생한 기존 이론과의 혼용에 의한 혼란이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서, 서로 모순되는 여러 이론들을 서로 혼용하기보다는 각각의 이론들을 충실히 소개하고 근원을 밝히는 것이 바람직하다고 생각된다. 그러면 학습자는 그 모두가 각각 하나의 이론임을 알고 그것들을 비판적으로 수용할 수 있을 것이다. 그리하여 스스로 그것들을 종합하여 개념을 정립할 기회를 가질 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This thesis is written to study on the study on the plot in the literature textbook of the seventh educational process. There are two important questions on the plot in the literature textbook of the seventh educational process. One is the point that the literature textbook accepts E. M. Forster's plot theory, though it is inconsistent. The other is the point that E. M. Forster's and structural plot theory are mixed disorderly in the textbook, therefore makes the crippled plot theory. According to E. M. Forster, a plot is an arranged narrative in causality and against time sequence. But According to the structuralist, a plot is a arrange of event or motif. The latter is more logical than the former. The structuralist offer the ready made plot theory more sense. Nevertheless the literature textbook accepts two theory at a time. The literature textbook should accept the structural plot theory more than so far. And it need to accept E. M. Forster's plot theory critically. And it is desirable to clear up the author of each theory.
