There will be a consensus on considering evaluation crucial to the health of education and its programs. In the last decade, since the introduction of school-based curriculum system by the 6th revision of curriculum for elementary and secondary education, there has been a growing tendency to demand that the results of curriculum activities be identified and communicated among stakeholders of education. In general, evaluation is a process or cluster of processes that people perform to gather data that will enable them to decide worth or merit of something. In this study, for the purpose of clarifying the complex meanings of curriculum evaluation as an terminology of education, an school-curriculum evaluation model was constructed in terms of purposes, objects, and methodologies of curriculum evaluation, which was depicted by a cubic model composed of 144 cells. This cubic model of curriculum evaluation can be used as a sort of conceptual scheme to guide designing and implementing of evaluation of a particular thing. And furthermore, this study tried to analyze and compare the practices of school-curriculum evaluation respectively conducted by 16 Offices of Education. In order to identify the current state of curriculum evaluation, the 2001 Self-Evaluation Report of the 7th School Curriclum prepared by local authority of education so-called Office of Education was analyzed in terms of purpose or philosophy, objects or elements, and methods of curriculum evaluation, and compared with each other by the technique of document analysis.
