초등학교 1, 2학년 교과서 분석 = An Analysis of First and Second Grade Textbooks in Elementary School

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to collect data for textbook`s correcting and to suggest for qualitative improvement of them. To this purpose, it was analyzed thirty-six textbooks of first and second grade which are Language Art, Math, Disciplined Life, Intelligent Life, and Pleasant Life based on fourteen criteria. On the results, first, on external system of textbook, five subjects, all was followed guidelines for governmental action. Textbook`s cover expressed subject`s nature and strong, the design was polished, familiar to students. Textbook`s writers mainly were living in Seoul or GyongGi local area(47.0%), participated a lot of teachers(61.8%), and more high 10 percentage male than female. On internal system of textbook by basis on Johnson`s checklists of twelve, they make a factor satisfactory in lesson area. However the introduction and finishing area of textbook was meager components they are no preface, index, references, glossary, appendix and so on. Second, Five subjects, all was high facilities to the 2007 revised national curriculum. Gender influence was steadily getting better in appearance ratio, genderrole, job area, but it was need to improve a level about 4%. Third, it was about 14% of textbook`s contents needed correction in side of fitness, appropriateness, and the right time.
