대학생들의 스토킹 피해에 있어 성별과 위험한 생활 행태(Risky Lifestyle)의 영향력연구 = A study of effect of gender and risky lifestyle on stalking victimization among college students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

스토킹 관련 법안을 통과시켜 스토킹 피해자들을 보호하고 있는 미국과 달리, 한국내에서 최근 미디어를 통해 연예인의 스토킹 피해사례가 보도되면서 스토킹에 대한 대중의 인식이 변화하고 있지만 학자들에 의해 이루어지는 스토킹 피해자의 심리적 육체적 폐해 및 스토킹 행위의 위험성에 관한연구는 여전히 미흡하다. 본 연구의 목적은 인간관계의 폭이 본격적으로 넓어지기 시작하는 대학생들이 겪고 있는 스토킹 피해에 관한 현황을 보고하고, 스토킹의 피해를 설명할 수 있는 요인을 범죄학적 이론을 통하여 살펴보는 것이다. 더욱 구체적으로, 연구는 스토킹 피해에 있어서 성별차이를 조사하고 일상생활 이론, 자아조절이론, 그리고 사회학습이론의 폭력의 학습과 관련한 폭력의 세대전승이론을 이용하여 스토킹 피해를 설명하려한다. 이러한 가설을 검증하기 위하여 미국 NVAWS 의 스토킹 측정방법인 갈등책략 척도(Conflict Tactics Scale-2: CTS-2)를 수정하여 수도권 대학교에 재학 중인 1390명의 대학생들을 대상으로 조사하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 종속변수는 스토킹 피해이고, 가정내 폭력의 학습(아동학대, 아버지 폭력의 목격, 훈육의 형태로 폭력의 경험), 자아조절, 위험한 생활패턴 (Risky Lifestyle)이 주요 독립변인으로 사용되었다. 결과에 따르면, 여성에 비해 남학생이 스토킹 피해를 보고한 건수가 더욱 많았고 위험한 생활패턴의 한 부분으로서 흡연습관을 가진 학생이 비흡연학생에 비해 스토킹 피해를 입을 가능성이 높다. 가정내 폭력의 목격과 경험, 자아조절능력은 스토킹 피해에 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 드러났다. 이러한 결과에 기반하여 본문에서 연구의 함의와 정책적 함의를 더욱 논의하도록 한다.
