통합교육적 맥락에서 살펴 본 현대사회 과보호 양육의 문제 - 애착이론을 중심으로 - = A Study on Problem of Overprotective Parenting from the viewpoint of Attachment Theory in the context of inclusive education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The lack of social skills of disabled students has been considered as the major obstacle to the inclusive education. It should be noted that, however, the lack of social skills of non-disabled students, mainly resulted from the overprotection of their parents, is also a great hindrance to successful inclusion. In this context, using attachment theory, this study tries to determine the negative effects of overprotective parenting on children’s exploratory behavior, and suggest an alternative parenting for the effective inclusive education. It also shows that with secure attachment the children could enjoy greater exploration, which enhanced their interpersonal competence and that parents’ overprotection could suppress the development of exploratory behavior. As a conclusion, it suggests the need for the parent education both in individual and community level to promote the exploration ability of non-disabled students as well as disabled students. In this way, inclusive education can be achieved more effectively.
