      The purpose of this study was to investigate how kindergarten education for reunification in Korea should implemented on the basis of the Guide for School Teachers, published by the Ministry of Education. Necessity, appropriateness, and possibility of this education were considered. The results of this study are as follows : Education for reunification in Korea must be done in kindergarten as well as in ordinary school because reunification of Korea is essential for us. Also many concepts and components related to this education are formed in early childhood. In order for reunification education to succeed, systematic programs should be developed, and education about reunification should be reinforced for kindergarten teachers. However, for the time being, as new programs have yet to be developed, current programs such as Human Education, Democratic Citizenship Education, and Education for Peace should be used to attain this goal.
