    This study is foundational research aimed at developing instructional materials for fostering integrative thinking. The purpose of this study is to provide new perspectives that support students in comprehensively understanding mathematical concepts. To achieve this, various examples of integrative thinking were categorized and analyzed according to their types. The study classified integrative thinking into three types: higher-order integration, comprehensive integration, and expansive integration, further subdividing each type and presenting representative cases. Although this study has limitations in offering a sufficiently diverse range of cases for each type of integrative thinking, it confirms the potential for developing instructional materials that help students connect multiple concepts through integrative thinking within the curriculum.
