어학 계열 전공자의 학습 동기 분석 - 러시아어 관련 전공을 중심으로 - = A Study on the Foreign Language Majored Student’s Learning Motivations: Focused on the Russian Language Major

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 효과적인 전공 탐색 및 심화 방안을 세우기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있도록 대학 내 어학 계열 전공자의 학습 동기를 조사하였다. 어학 계열 전공자들은 언어에서 사회, 문화, 경제까지 학습 내용이 광범위하여 진로 모색에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 대학 재학 기간 중 세부전공을 탐색하고 졸업 후 전공에 맞는 진로를 선택하는 데 도움이 될 수 있는 방안을 마련하고자 한다. 본 연구의 주요 대상은 러시아어 전공 학습자이며 중국어 전공 학습자의 학습 동기와 비교·분석하였다. 분석 결과 러시아어 전공자가 중국어 전공자에 비해 전공 선택을 늦게 한 것으로 나타났으며 중국어 전공자가 자신의 전공을 더 긍정적으로 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 어학 계열 전공자를 대상으로 학습자특성검사를 실시한 결과 학업자아개념이 다른 자아개념에 비해 다소 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 학습동기와 관련된 조사에서는 내재적 동기가 확인된 동기에 비해 다소 낮게 측정되었다. 마지막으로 조사 문항 대다수에서 러시아어 전공자의 학습동기 관련 척도가 중국어 전공자에 비해 낮게 나타났다. 낯선 언어와 문화를 배우는 제2외국어 전공자들의 배경 지식 구축을 통해 학습동기를 부여할 필요가 있는데 학과 내에서 전공별로 특화된 프로그램이 개발되어야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to establish basic data for establishing effective majors search and deepening the plan, so surveyed the motivation of studying in the university language major. Students majoring in foreign language have difficulty in finding a career because of the wide range of content from language to society, culture and economy. The university should create a plan that will help students to choose a career path suitable for college studies and majors. This study analyzed the learning motivation of learners majoring in Russian and Chinese. As a result, it was found that the students majoring in Russian were delayed in the selection of the major compared with the Chinese students. Chinese majored students considered their majors more positive. The academic self-concept was somewhat lower than the other self-concept. In the study related to learning motivation, intrinsic motivation was measured to be somewhat lower than identified regulation. Finally, in most of the studies, the figures related to learning motivation of Russian majors were lower than those of Chinese majors. It is necessary to increase learning motivation by building background knowledge, and within the college, special programs should be developed for each major.
