신체장애인의 스포츠 참가 동기에 관한 연구 = A Study on Sports Participation Motivation of Persons with Physical Disabilities

The purpose of this study was to identify the differences in sports participation motivation of persons with physical disabilities. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire in which the participation motivation of the consisted questions regarding intrinsic motivation, as identified by Son, seung-bum(1999). The questionnaire's validity was evaluated by a panel of experts of adapted physical education, and the Cronbach alpha values ranged from .776 to .863, So the questionnaire was deemed to be highly reliable. To achieve the purpose of the study, 221 the participant in sports for persons with physical disabilities were selected as subjects. The statistics selected in this study were descriptive statistics, frequency and one-way ANOVA using SPSS/PC version 11.0. The following results were obtained. Frist, Intrinsic motivation differ statistically and significantly with respect to self-confident of the past exercise experience. Second, Intrinsic motivation differ statistically and significantly with respect to degree for the new exercise experience.
