This study was conducted to figure out the convective hear transfer in vertical downward tow-phase flow with polymer additives. This experiment was studied in 26mm inner diameter, 800mm heating length and 1×10^(5)W/m^(2) heat flux. The polymer concentration ranged from 0 PPM to 500 PPM of vertical downward flow in cylindrical tube.
Experimental results show that the convective heat transfer increased with increasing the superficial air and water velocity but decreased with increasing the polymer additives of vertical downward two-phase flow in cylindrical tube.
