저출산 시대의 보육서비스에 대한 부모의 욕구 = A Study on the Parents" Expectation about Upbringing Service in a Social Phenomenon of Having Few Children

The purpose of this study is to explore investigate into parents" expectation about upbringing service of nursery in a social phenomenon of having few children. For attaining these purpose, we carried out survey about parents" expectation of upbringing system, a course of study, function of nursery. Object of investigation were 653 members of parents(277 members of fathers and 329 members of mothers). The result of this research shows that they expect to upbringing for a time and extended upbringing service of nursery. Also, they want to take piano or art lessons, and physical training in a course of study. And parents expected to counseling for problems of their children in nursery. We can get one conclusion from this research, parents expect to function of welfare and education for supporting their job and child development, in nursery.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 저출산 현상의 시대에 부모가 느끼고 있는 육아 문제를 보육시설이 어떻게 지원할 수 있는가를 검토하기 위하여 부모들의 다양한 보육욕구를 알아보는데 그 목적을 두었다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여 부모 635명(아버지 277명, 어머니 329, 평균연령 41.03세)을 대상으로 보육형태, 보육내용, 보육시설의 기능에 대해 욕구조사를 각각 실시하였다. 그 결과, 보육 형태에는 연장보육과 일시보육에 대한 기대가 컸으며, 보육(교육)의 내용에는 예능ㆍ체능교육을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 보육시설에 대해서 보육 상담의 역할도 기대하는 것으로 나타났다. 이런 결과는 부모들이 보육시설에 대해 자신들의 직장생활을 지원하는 복지적 기능과 아동의 건강한 심신발달을 지원하는 교육적 기능에 대한 기대가 크다는 것을 말해주고 있다. 동시에 육아불안에 대한 문제도 있어서, 이에 대한 보육시설의 상담지원도 기대하고 있다는 사실이 밝혀졌다.
