직업훈련기관의 취업률 제고에 관한 연구- 우수기관 사례를 중심으로 - = Research on the way to enhance the employment rate of the vocational training institution

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The evaluation project about the vocational training institution and training programs for the unemployed Since 1998 have contributed to the improvement of training quality for the unemployed. For the past five years, training institutions tried to do their best for the effectiveness of the program. The government policies were carried out to achieve that goal. In spite of these efforts, the goal of training program, employment of the unemployed, had a tremendous gap according to institutions and programs. This article identified the reasons of the low employment rate for the trainees and suggested strategies to improve employment rates for them.The strategies to improve employment rates for the unemployed trainees are boiled down as total innovative efforts. That is, internally, vocational training institutions need to do their best for advertisement of training institution and program, systematic recruitment of training participants, innovation of training curriculum, and employment support and linkage. Externally, vocational training institutions need to construct partnership with government and employment promotion center. As a result of these efforts, vocational training institutions are expected to achieve improvement of employment rate for the unemployed with policy support such as creation of new job by government and expansion of service by employment promotion center.
