The renewed focus on ethics in the public sector is a response to widespread evidence of declining public confidence in government, a decline fuelled by concerns about the integrity and standards of behavior of public officials. In this respect, we have focused on the ethics training to public servants so as to improve and maintain high ethical standards in all spheres of society. Due to this, this study has analyzed the training institutions for public servants and surveyed several issues such as the importance, perspectives of ethics, ethics training programs and methods, and improving the ethics training. From the findings, we have suggested four policy directions such as to operate integrative ethics training, personnel management based on the ethics, desirable contends, methods and tools of ethics training, and to perceive ethics culture in the public management.
