청소년의 일상적 스트레스와 대처동기가 음주관련문제에 미치는 영향-충남의 A시를 중심으로 = A study on the influences of daily stress and coping motives on the adolescent`s alcohol-related problems-focusing on A city in Chungnam

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined the effects of daily stress and coping motives on the adolescent`s alcohol-related problems. In addition, the study examined if coping motives mediated the testing relationship differently when gender was introduced into the equation. Data from 125 adolescent was analyzed through frequency analysis, Pearson`s correlation, and multiple regression, using the SPSS 12.0. The mediation hypothesis was established according to the analysis method of Baron & Kenny for testing mediation effects of coping motives on the relation between daily stress and adolescent`s alcohol-related problems. Granting limitations imposed by the small convenience sample, the following were supported: (1) life stress and coping motives increased adolescent`s alcohol-related problems; (2) coping motives had a partial mediating effect between the relationship; (3) coping motives mediated the relationship between daily stress and alcohol-related problems for female adolescents, whereas there was no significant mediator effect for male adolescents. Implications for stress management and self-efficacy to prevent adolescent`s alcohol-related problems were discussed.
