시사만화로 보는 1950년대 중후반 한국 라디오 문화의 풍경 = Radio culture represented by editorial cartoons in the middle and late 1950s of Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this article is to recapture the landscape of radio culture in 1950s of Korea, analysing editorial cartoon related to radio (broadcating) of 1950s. Research findings are as follows. Firstly, misconceptions between realities represented in radio programs and social realities was very frequent. Sometime, authors of editorial cartoon have imperialistic awareness about misconceptions. Secondly, the privatized experiences of radio audiences were represented in editorial cartoons related to radio (broadcasting) of 1950s. Thirdly, the symptoms of ‘schizophonia’ were captured by authors of editorial cartoon. Finally, symptoms that culture consuming radio sound began to emerge towards the end of 1950s were represented in editorial cartoons.
