조선후기 제문 연구－여성 대상 제문을 중심으로 = A study on the ceremonial writing in the late Chosun-focus on the ceremonial writing for women

국문 초록 (Abstract)

  본 논문은 여성 대상 제문을 중심으로 조선후기 제문의 특성을 검토하고자 작성되었다. 구체적 논의에 앞서 제문이 활발히 창작되는 문화적 배경과 제문의 제작 시기, 대상, 창작 동기 등을 살펴보았다. 제문은 17, 18세기 상제례가 활성화됨에 따라 양적으로 증가하였으며 후기로 갈수록 다양한 신분의 여성을 포용하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 제문이 제의의 공간에서 낭독되는 것에 초점을 맞추어 제문이 향유되고 전승되는 과정을 탐색하였다. 제문은 집안 내에서 전승되며 유사한 표현과 구성 방식을 창안해 공유하기도 하고 경우에 따라 사실적 자료로 이용되기도 하였다. 한편 여성에게 문학적 창작력을 제공하여 언문 제문을 직접 짓는 등 문학 활동에 참여하게 하였다.<BR>  작품은 대상에 따라 제망실문, 제망녀문, 제망자문과 제망매문, 제망부문으로 나누어 대표적 작가와 작품을 거론하고 내용적 특징과 형상화 방식을 살펴보았다. 제문 작가는 단절감의 극복과 삶과 죽음에 대한 근본적 성찰을 통해 시대와 공간을 넘어 보편성을 획득하고자 하였다. 기억을 재현하는 방식과 대화체의 사용, 주변 경물에 대한 묘사를 통한 부재감의 조성 등의 형상화 방식을 통해 제문의 개성적 특성이 부각된다. 여성이 문학 창작 활동에 참여할 수 있도록 기회를 제공하였다는 것이 제문의 대표적인 문학사적 성과로 평가될 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

  This thesis aims to study the characteristics of the ceremonial writing in the late Chosun. Expecially this thesis focused on the ceremonial writing for the woman. First, I searched the characteristics of the ceremonial writing-like as cultural background, writing time, objects, motive of the writing.<BR>  The amount of the ceremonial writing increased by the funeral and memorial services were served frequently in the 17th and 18th century. I studied about the enjoyment and passing of the ceremonial writing by focusing the recitation. The ceremonial writing was enjoyed and passed out in the family. The writer created the expression and used with the member of family. I could find that the similar expressions and plots in the father and son"s ceremonial writings. Sometimes the ceremonial writing was used as a historical documents. The ceremonial writing offered the literal creative to the woman, The woman could write Korean version ceremonial writing.<BR>  The ceremonial writing for the woman are divided to Jemangsilmun, Jemangnyomun, Jemangjamun, Jemangmaemun, Jemangbumun. I found out the characteristics of aesthetics in the ceremonial writing by analyzing the expression. The writer tried to gain the universal agreement about the life and death through the overcome the sense of estrangement and basic thought about life and death. The main literal accomplishment of the ceremonial writings is giving the chance to woman to write literal writing.
