In this study, field and model test were carried out in order to analyze the characteristic behavior and increase the application of KSIP method. Results of load tests of SIP and KSIP showed that the increment of total and skin resistance of KSIP were 18 % and 21 % respectively, and skin resistance supported about 50 % of applied loads. The increasing of resistance of KSIP was due to the increment of skin friction. Considering the underestimation of skin resistance of replacement piles, modified prediction equation was proposed based on various test results in sandy soils. Based on results, analytical program estimating pile resistance including the replacement piles was developed and verified. Also, An automatic measurement system for pile-mat foundation was built and settled in the field. The measurement system will help to predict the behavior of the foundational structure and used to check worked load sharing with between piles and ground
