아랍 문화코드에 나타나는 부족주의 vs. 이슬람주의

국문 초록 (Abstract)

중동의 복잡한 정치사회 발전과정에서 이슬람주의와 부족주의는 중요한 역할을 수행해 왔다. 본 연구는 이러한 정치 및 사회 변동에서 문화 및 종교적 영향을 분석하여 중장기적인 아랍의 정치동향을 판단하는 분석의 틀 마련하였다. 아랍권에서 2015년 라마단 기간 중 큰 인기를 끌며 방영되었던 드라마를 대상으로아랍의 대표적 이슬람주의 문화코드이자 이슬람 종교의 근본정신인 정의와 권선징악, 인샬라(Inshallah)의 정명론, 그리고 움마(Ummah)의 공동체주의가 어떻게 구현되었는지를 분석하였다. 그리고 드라마 속에 나타난 아랍의 부족주의 문화코드인 명예와 자존심, 수다의 관계중심주의, 남성중심의 가부장적 권위주의, 물리력 중심주의, 그리고 상업 중심주의가 어떻게 구현되었는지를 분석하였다. 3개의 이슬람주의 문화코드와 5개의 부족주의적 문화코드가 인기 드라마에서 어떻게 반영되고 투사되었는지를 파악하였다. 1차년도 연구 결과는 한국이슬람학회 논총 제26-3호에 “아랍 문화코드 내 이슬람주의”라는 논문으로 2016년 10월 31일 게재될 예정이다. 그리고 2차년도 연구 결과도 한국국어대학교 중동연구소가 발행하는 중동연구 제35-2호에 “아랍 문화코드 내 부족주의”라는 논문으로 2016년 10월 30일 게재될 예정이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Islamism and tribalism has played an important role in complicated political and social development. This study established the framework of analysis that examines the cultural and religious influences from these political and social changes which determine the long-term trend of Arab politics. The main data of this study was dramas which were aired in the Arab World during Ramadan 2015 period and dragged huge popularity. In examining the collected dramas, the research conducted a thorough analysis on three representative Islamic culture codes of justice and ‘the good triumphing over the evil’, fatalism of Inshaallah, and community spirit of Ummah as well as five representative tribal culture codes of honor and self-esteem, relationships through chattering, male-dominated patriarchal authoritarianism, central role of physical power, commercialism. The study focused on how these three Islamic and five tribal culture codes were projected and reflected in the collected drama. The result of the first year research will be published in a paper titled "islamism in Arab culture code" in the Journal of Association of Islamic Studies in October 2016. And the result of the second year research will be published in a paper titled "Tribalism in Arab culture code" in the Journal of Middle Ea
