A highway maintenance length will be increased due to newly highway construction. In early years, Korea highways were constructed fourth lanes. Recently, some highway sections were constructed eight lanes because improved geometric of highway and increased lanes. Increasing of maintenance length and increased lanes has problem such as problem of maintenance, confidence of surveyed data, and long time of surveying period. To develop Korean surveying vehicle was studied to survey and analysis of crack rate, crack length, and transverse or longitudinal roughness of the pavement, The longitudinal roughness data of the pavement can be surveying as traveling speed of vehicle using the ARPA. The surveyed data using ARPA is input in The HPMS. Rutting of transverse roughness is surveyed using the ARAN. The analyzer system of crack rate and crack length of the pavement surface was not develop yet. One part of the program to analysis crack rate was developed, which is testing on some highway sections. This practice study was reviewed for composition of crack analyzer system and proceedings of analyzer. The present time, usting acquisition machine can be take surface picture on the ARPA, was reviewed to apply through the field surveying of some highway sections. The condition of the pavement roughness is divided into five categories according to field tests. Hereafter, additional statistical analyses are needed for some variables (line, pavement type, section length etc). Almost roughness index of five new lines is five and less and they are classified into excellent group.
