다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between coffee (unsweetened, sweetened) consumption frequency, health behavior, and the dietary factors of young adult participants in the first beverage intake survey introduced in the 8th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(KNHANES). According to the health factors of the subjects (254 males and 273 females), drinking and smoking (p<0.01) for men, when consuming unsweetened coffee, women showed significant differences in subjective body shape recognition and weight control effort, physical activity practice (p<0.05), and subjective health status (p<0.01). The consumption of unsweetened coffee was high among male drinkers and non-smokers and considered themselves obese. Also, women who undertook physical activity had a high consumption of unsweetened coffee. Women who consumed sweetened coffee displayed habits that included smoking (p<0.05). Also, women who practiced ‘good health’ (p<0.01) and undertook physical activity (p<0.05) consumed high amounts of sweetened coffee. The analysis of coffee consumption habits among men according to dietary factors revealed that the lower the frequency of eating breakfast (p<0.05) and fruit intake (p<0.01), the higher the consumption of unsweetened coffee. In contrast, women who consumed breakfast more frequently (p<0.01) and nutrition label awareness (p<0.01) had a higher consumption of unsweetened coffee. Both men with a high frequency of fruit intake (p<0.05) and subjects who perceived nutrition label awareness (p<0.001) consumed high amounts of sweetened coffee. The results of this study show that the coffee (unsweetened, sweetened) consumption habits of young men and women are influenced by health perception and dietary factors.
