The Fault Tree Analysis Technique has many a virtue, and possibility of both qualitative and quantitative analysis is the most precious property. Though many computer codes for FTA have been developed [4], since they were directed for practical use only, they were not suitable for educational purpose or novice usage. Furthermore there have been a few trials in our country, they did not try to utilize any importance Indices [1,8]. Most computer codes developed by many researchers have merely functions to enumerate BIC(P)S or to count the occurring number of individual basic event in Minimal Cut\Path Sets. With these codes, it was impossible to enjoy the advantage of FTA. In this research we developed a new educative computer code for anyone whoever knows about gate type and basic event relations. For this, traditional Fussell-Vesely algorithm was modified and a conversion. scheme to a binary tree was supplied also. And by including Structure Function and Structural Importance Index, a quantitative approach was introduced.
