The purpose this study is to research the effects of weight increase of finess, physiological function and it's level.
The subjects for this study were selected 5-Ssirum athletes in Chonju university and were measured an increase in subjects's body weight at intervals of 10 days(W=normal body weight, W₁2.4+0.42% increase W₂=5.4+0.36% increase, W₃13.2+0.96% increase, W15.8+0.54% increase, -W 5.7+0.69% decrease, -W 10.0+1.14% decrease, -W 13.6+1.62% decrease).
After experimental subjects had been measured changes of back strength, grip strength, vertical jump, VO₂max, and blood pressure followed by levels of weight increase, the following conclusions were made.
1. Back strength has been augmented according to weight increase and were significant differences from the 7.9∼15.8% levels of weight increase.
2. Grip strength showed significant difference from the 7.9∼13.2% levels of weight increase in the left.
3. Vertical jump was significant different from the 7.9% level of weight increase.
4. VO₂max appeared significant different from the 7.9% level of weight increase.
5. Blood pressure were no significant differences from the systolic pressure and diastolic pressure all together according to weight incresase.
6. Level of proper weight increase established 7.9+0.73% level of weight increase, as significant differences from back strength, left grip strength, vertical jump, VO₂max.
