청소년친화마을 지표개발 연구 = A Study on the Development of Indicators for the Youth- Friendly Community

In this study, the concept of youth-friendly community, based on UNICEF and a definition of research essential to establish a youth-friendly community are presented along with standards and indicators for each. To this end, a survey was conducted with experts on youth using Delphi. A total of 219 experts on youth academic and field studies (e.g., youth ministry officials, youth organization field experts) participated by considering the concept of healthy youth growing into competent adults as a community model. In the end, feedback was collected from 50 final participants. Professionals in a total of five area with 27 subdivisions answered 90 questions. The final composition of the output selected the five concepts of ‘a fully healthy community’, ‘a community in which everyone is safe’, ‘learning to enjoy the community’, ‘other activities in the community’, and ‘participating in the community’, with 19, subdivisions and a total of 84 metrics. Theses results can be used to promote youth-friendly communities and will contribute to the research evidence in this area.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년친화마을 추진을 위한 조성 기준 및 실천 체계를 개발하기 위한 첫 번째 단계로 지역사회를 평가할 수 있는 지표를 개발하기 위한 목적으로 시도 되었다. 본 지표를 통해 청소년이 성장하고 있는 지역사회의 환경을 객관적이고 체계적으로 분석할 수 있다. 이를 위해 청소년친화 환경 관련 연구문헌 및 정책을 분석하고, 청소년 관련 전문가(청소년 관련 부처 공무원, 청소년 관련 기관 현장 전문가)들을 대상으로 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 전문가 총 219명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 이 중 50명의 전문가 의견을 토대로 조성 기준 및 평가지표를 도출하였다. 조사 결과 ‘누구나 건강한 마을’, ‘모두가 안전한 마을’, ‘배움을 누리는 마을’, ‘더불어 활동하는 마을’, ‘함께 참여하는 마을’의 5개 대 영역과 19개 19개 세부 영역의 총 84개 평가 지표가 선정되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 청소년친화마을 조성 기준 및 추진체계 그리고 실행 방식의 근거를 제공함으로써 청소년친화마을 추진 확산시키는데 기여하게 될 것이다.
