The purpose of this study was to verify the multiple mediating effect of depression and self-esteem on the relationship between abuse experience from parents and career maturity of the high school student. For this study, data were drawn from the 7th wave panel data provided at The Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs and Seoul National University. It included 463 the high school students. To analyze the data, SPSS 20.0 and SPSS Indirect macro were used. The results of this study were summarized as follows : (1) Abuse experience from parents was negatively influenced on career maturity. (2) Depression mediated between abuse experience from parents and career maturity. (3) Self-esteem mediated between abuse experience from parents and career maturity. Based on the results, some implications were discussed to improve career maturity of the high school student through reducing depression and improving self-esteem.
