애착, 반추, 공감, 용서의 관계 경로분석 연구 = A Path-analytic Study of Associations between Attachment, Rumination, Empathy, and Forgiveness

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated the associations between attachment, rumination, empathy, and forgiveness via attachment theory. For this purpose, a sample of 283 undergraduates completed a survey on adult attachment, rumination, empathy, and forgiveness including Experience in Close Relationship Scale (ECRS), Rumination Questionnaire, Korean- Balanced Emotional Empathy Scale (K-BEES), and Trait Forgivingness Scale- Korean (TFS-K). Through structural equation modeling (SEM), the hypothetical model explaining the structural paths and the fit of models are evaluated. This study found a common path where adult attachment (anxious/avoidant attachment) negatively leads to dispositional forgiveness. It also found a distinctive path of attachment orientations that anxious attachment and avoidant attachment negatively affect forgiveness through excessive rumination and lack of empathy, respectively. In addition, this study presented a more accurate path by analyzing direct and indirect effects in the structure of related variables. Finally, implications, limitations, and suggestions for future studies are discussed based on these results of this study.
