보령 출신 독립유공자의 발굴과 서훈 가능성 모색

This study is aimed to review the possibility of conferment and discover new indepence nmn of national merit from Boryeong, based on 「Court decisions of Independence Movements」 by the National Archives of Korea. But this study is limited to the domestic activists on court decisions, thus there could be abroad activists or no-data in the national to National Archives of Korea.
Boryeong is poor in human resources and the data of independence compared with other regions. There are only 41, Independence Men of national merit decorated for distinguished service, the best the rank is Aegukjjang. Only Kim Gwang-je who led the National Debt Repayment Movement as an independence movement has a national profile.
Court decisions of Independence Movements by the National Archives of Korea contains the 62 judgments associated independence activists from Boryeong currently. Except for decorated people, 23 people being decorated are verified. Choe Jeong-bo Han Eot -dong, I Si-bok, Kim Han-pil, Kim Chung-gyu has a high potential of Independence Men of national merit based on criteria to confer it. Although independence movement was weak, the seven candidates who was imprisoned after standing trial in the 1940s have to be focused as a possibility honor. The five people who participated on the protests so got 60 flogging punishment, will also be necessary continued interest but they were under the criteria. Their additional public resources such as verification and the verification of their descendants should be verified, make best efforts to confer them. This is the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, the local community, academia organizations of history of independent movement, the descents need to work together.
