다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is to review the characteristic in Gangwon regional culture and cultural contents. Recently there have been lots of local festivals based on literary figures and events. Gangwon regional culture which emphasizes the identity is occupying a conspicuous position in Gangwon cultural contents. There is also the trend of reflecting the regional traits.
The cultural contents and literary evidences for them, however, are occasionally unreality. Nowadays, the term ‘glocalism’ is in everyone’s mouth. This reflects the growing interest in ‘regions’, along with that in the globe. Fair value assessment of the regional literature can help rectify the unfair cultural structure and is a way to develop Korean literature itself.
The poetic world which emphasizes the universal lyricism is occupying a conspicuous position in Gangwon regional literature. There is also the trend of reflecting the regional traits. Fair value assessment of the regional literature can help rectify the unfair cultural structure and is a way to develop Korean literature itself. Furthermore, we need to develop more nation-wide themes and storytelling for cultural contents getting over regional limits.
