박람회장 사후활용 측면의 워터프런트(Water Front) 개발모형에 관한 사례연구 = 일본사례를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 지역발전에 관한 이론적 고찰과 일본의 워터프런트를 기반으로 하는 지역개발사례를 통하여 내부적?외부적?통합적 지역발전전략 관점에서 워터프런트를 기반으로 하는 다양한 개발사례들의 실천적 사례를 분석하여 지역 개발모형을 제시함으로써 국내에서 추진되고 있는 다양한 지역발전전략의 실천적 개발모형을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 지역발전이론에 기초한 지역개발 모형의 이론적 고찰과 사례연구의 연계를 통해 제반 이해관계자들에게 공공과 민간의 협력에 기반한 지역개발사업의 실질적인 사업전략을 제공함으로써 성공적인 지역개발전략에 대한 시사점을 제공하고 있다. 특히, 최근 국내에서 지역발전전략의 일환으로 추진되고 있는 워터프런트 기반의 박람회장 사후활용 개발사업에 있어서 지속가능한 지역발전의 거점으로서 역할과 기능을 확보하기 위한 실천적 개발전략을 제공하고 있다.

This study aims to present the practical regional development model through analyzing case studies because it recognizes that there is a need for the integrated studies of that through theoretical review related to regional growth. It studied the regional development model based on the theoretical review on the regional growth and the case studies on the water front of Japan for considering the regional development model for the subsequent application of Expo sites. Especially, the case presented in this paper was classified as the case study of water front development which it was for sustainable regional development after Exposition. Therefore, this study can be used as the practical regional development model of subsequent utilizing development strategy which will contribute to sustainable regional development for Expo site and facilities after the Expo and the festival on the national and the regional basis in Korea.
