청소년이 지각한 부정적 양육태도가 사이버불링 가해행동에 미치는 영향에서 스마트폰 과의존의 매개효과 = The Mediation Effect of Smartphone Overdependence on the Effect of Negative Parenting Attitudes Perceived by Adolescents on Cyberbullying Behavior

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년이 지각한 부정적 양육태도가 사이버불링 가해행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 이들 관계에서 스마트폰 과의존의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 한국아동청소년 패널조사 2018의 중학교 1학년 848명을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년이 지각한 부정적 양육태도가 사이버불링 가해행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 부정적 양육태도를 높게 지각할수록 사이버불링 가해행동이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년이 지각한 부정적 양육태도가 사이버불링 가해행동에 미치는 영향에서 스마트폰 과의존의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과 스마트폰 과의존의 부분 매개효과가 검증되었다. 즉 청소년이 지각한 부정적 양육태도는 사이버불링 가해행동에 직접적인 영향을 미치면서, 스마트폰 과의존을 통하여 간접적으로도 영향을 미치고 있음이 검증되었다. 청소년들에게 필수요소가 된 스마트폰을 무조건적으로 규제하기 보다는 청소년들의 올바른 사용습관을 기를 수 있는 접근이 필요할 것이다. 부정적 양육태도 개선을 위한 교육과 스마트폰 과의존 개선을 위한 교육 및 상담 프로그램의 접근을 고려한 청소년들의 사이버불링 가해 행동을 예방하고 문제를 해결할 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다. 나아가 스마트폰 과다사용을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있도록 스마트폰 관리 교육 및 과의존 방지를 위한 상담프로그램 개발과 실천 환경이 조성되어야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined the effect of negative parenting attitudes perceived by adolescents on cyberbullying behavior, and verified the mediating effect of smartphone dependence in these relationships. To this end, an analysis was conducted on 848 people in the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018, and the results are as follows. First, as a result of examining the effect of negative parenting attitudes perceived by adolescents on cyberbullying behavior, statistically significant results were found, and negative parenting attitudes were found to be the influencing factor. Second, as a result of examining the mediating effect of smartphone dependence on the effect of negative parenting attitudes perceived by adolescents on cyberbullying behavior, the partial mediating effect of smartphone dependence was verified. It was verified that the negative parenting attitude perceived by adolescents directly affects cyberbullying behavior and indirectly affects it through dependence on smartphones. Rather than unconditionally regulating smartphones, which have become an essential element for teenagers, an approach to developing the right usage habits of teenagers will be needed. It is necessary to prevent and solve problems by teenagers' cyberbullying behavior in consideration of education to improve negative parenting attitudes and access to education and counseling programs to improve dependence on smartphones. Furthermore, in order to efficiently manage excessive use of smartphones, a counseling program development and practice environment should be created for smartphone management education and prevention of overdependence.
