도시 기혼여성의 가치관과 가정관리 행동에 관한 연구 = A Study on Value-Orientation of Urban Housewives and their Home Management Activities

The purpose is study is to investigate the value-orientation ailed home management activities of urban housewives, and its result is as follows :
1) The most modernised value-orientation of urban housewives is toward political attitude and the neat are economic value, religious value, social value, and the value attached to the family is most traditional.
2) As far as the socio-demographic variables ard concerned, the vague-orientation of urban housewives shows significant difference according to their education, socio-economic status, and whether they have a job or not. In other words, the higher their education, or socio-economic status, the more modernised their value-orientation, and the values held by housewives with a job are more modernised than those of housewives not going to work
3) In performing home management activities, urban housewives are good at control, adjustment and instruction, but poor at planning and evaluation in their process of home management activities, and good at money, clothes and food, but poor at home facilities, public facilities, time, knowledge.
4) In the socio-demographic variables, the home management activities of urban housewives show significant difference according to their education and socio-economic status; that is, the higher their education and socio-economic status, the better they do in their home management activities.
5) Home management activities of urban housewives show low correlation with the their value-orientation; that is, the level of modernity of values is of low relation with character management and planning in the process of managing home resources.
