성악학습을 위한 음악감상방안 : 리하르트 슈트라우스의 생애별 곡들을 중심으로-Allerseelen.Morgen.Ach lieb, ich muss nun scheiden.-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

음악 감상은 음악적으로 지식과 정보가 없는 사람의 음악적 감각을 끌어올릴 수 있는 가장 근본적인 방법이다. 음악을 연주하기에 앞서 곡에 대한 철저한 이해는 연주자가 갖추어야 할 필수요소이다. 작품의 시대적 배경, 작곡가의 고유한 작곡양식, 작곡가의 의도, 그 밖에 장르의 정체성, 가사내용, 가사의 딕션 공부 등에 대한 정보를 파악해야 한다. 그리고 연습 방법 중의 하나로서 연주하고자 하는 곡에 대한 감상은 빼놓을 수 없는 과정이다.
예술가곡은 시와 음악이 결합한 예술장르로서 특히 예술가곡을 아름답게 연주하기 위해서는 시의 내용과 언어적인 부분, 역사와 사상적인 부분에 대한 이해가 필요하다.
예술가곡의 연주는 목소리를 통해 정확한 발성과 딕션 그리고 음악적인 표현을 구사해내야 한다. 이러한 표현을 해낼 수 있는 가장 빠르고 효율적인 방법으로 고안해 낸 것이 음악 감상이다. 연주자가 발성과 표현적인 부분에 도움을 얻기 위해서는 음악 감상에 대한 명확한 정의와 방법을 알고 음악 감상의 매체들을 경험해볼 필요가 있다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 음악을 감상할 수 있는 방법과 매체, 적용방법 등을 다루었다. 음악 감상을 통해 뛰어난 연주자들의 발성, 딕션과 표현방법 등을 듣고 재해석하여 정확하고 아름다운 연주에 도움을 주고자 한다.
이러한 방법을 바탕으로 독일의 후기 낭만주의 시대에 활동한 음악가로 예술가곡에 있어서 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있는 후기 낭만주의 독일 작곡자인 R. Strauss의 전기 가곡을 접하면서 그 음악을 바람직하게 감상하는데 적용하였다.
R. Strauss의 음악적 표현을 극대화하기 위해 성악전공자에게는 그에 따르는 배경지식에 대한 깊이 있는 연구가 필요하다. 그리고 올바르고 지속적인 음악 감상을 통하여 한 작곡자의 작품을 정확하고 아름답게 연주해낼 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문을 통하여 올바른 음악 감상과 곡에 대한 바른 이해와 해석을 통해 깊이 있고 창조적인 연주가 되게 하고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The appreciation of music is one fundamental way of enhancing the sensation of music in the people who do not have knowledge or information about music. The necessary requisite that the musician should have is that he should fully understand the piece before playing it. He should comprehend such elements as the epoch’s background of the piece, the peculiar composition mode of the music composer, intention of the composer, and identity of the genre, content of lyric lines, dictionary study of the lyric lines etc. And as one of the exercising methods, the appreciation method of the music that is to be played can not be excluded.
German Lied (an art song) is the art genre that combines poem and music, and in order to beautifully play German Lied(an art song), the comprehension about the content of the poem and the language part of it, and the historical and conceptual part will be necessary. In the play of German Lied (an art song), one should compose exact vocalization and diction and musical expressions. The method that can present these elements that are invented is the appreciation of the music. In order for a player to get assistance in the part of his vocalization and the presenting part, he should understand the clear definition and method about the music appreciation and experience that media, appreciation of music.
Thus, in this thesis, we dealt with the method of an appreciation, the media and the application method that can let the player appreciate music. By listening to famous musician’s music, the player can understand and re-translate the vocalization, diction and the representing method of the musician and be aided in a sense of the correct and beautiful play.
On the basis of these methods, we have applied the German’s composer, R. Strauss’ Lied during the former part of life in order for a desirable music appreciation who has an important place in German Lied (an art song) world. R. Strauss is the musician who worked during the latter Romantic era.
We have surveyed on the historical background and the general characteristics of German Lied (an art song), and surveyed through the classification of the R. Strauss's life by the epoch. We have selected three pieces of R. Strauss’s Lied during the former part of life, Allerseelen(Op.10), Morgen(Op.27), and Ach Lieb, ich muss nun scheiden(Op.21) and tried to apply them to the music appreciation.
The music of R. Strauss is based on the simple formula and through the magnification and modulation of the formula, it provides the brilliance and freshness and showed the composition strategy such as presenting the melody diction as if reading the melody and the poem words. German Lied (an art song), new and perfect music genre then has been formed that is called ‘19th century’s German Lied (an art song) with the perfect accordance between the poem and the music.
In order to maximize the musical expression of R. Strauss, the vocal musician should study in depth the background knowledge accordingly. And through continuous and sound music appreciation, one can play the pieces of one composer both beautifully and correctly. Through this thesis, we intend to become a in-depth and creative player through the rightful music appreciation and the correct understanding about the pieces, and interpretation of them.
