Beverage certified reference materials (CRMs) were prepared in Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS). The target analytes were food additives, sorbic acid, benzoic acid, methyl and propyl p-hydroxybenzoate in two kinds of commercial beverages. The certified values were determined by isotope dilution liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (ID-LC/MS). In this presentation, the method for the preparation of stable and homogeneous CRMs as well as the method development for certified values will be shown. These CRMs have around 1 % of relative standard deviation between bottles showing that means the CRMs are homogeneous. The stability monitoring has performed and the data for stability monitoring will be shown. In addition, KRISS had participated in the international comparison, Asia Pacific Metrology Programme Supplementary Comparison (Determination of Mass Fraction of Benzoic Acid, Methyl Paraben and n-Butyl Paraben in Soy Sauce) for international harmonization of the values determined in KRISS as a National Metrology Institute in Korea.
