과거와 미래의 혼합물로서의 북한경제 -잉여 점유 및 경제조정기제의 다양화와 7개 구획구조 = North Korean economy as a hybrid of past and future -Segmentation of the economy in seven semi-independent compartments based on diversification of surplus occupation and economic coordination mechanism

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

North Korea`s economy since the 1990`s has been regarded of a mixture of command and market economy. The paper suggests two criteria to understand it analytically. The first is who owns the produced surplus. The second is what kind economic mechanisms are working in the current North Korean economy. Seven compartments of the North Korean economy is to be differentiated: Kim Jong-il compartment; compartment of commercial companies established by organizations with power; plan economy under the Cabinet; privileged plan economy for military production; compulsory mobilization compartment; agricultural cooperative economy; semi-market economy. Among these, the compartment of commercial companies established by organizations with power represents best the characteristic of North Korea`s economy since the 1990s.
