The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of teachers-young children attachment security and children's self-regulation on their peer competence. The subject of this study were 190 young children- and their teachers in kindergartens and preschools located in Seoul city. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 20.0 to calculate descriptive statistics and T-test, one-way analysis of variance, correlation analysis and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The results of the study were as follows. First, there were significant positive correlations between teachers-children attachment security, children's Self-regulation and the children peer competence. Second, there were significant effects of teachers-young children attachment security and children's self-regulation on the young children's peer competence.
