Similarity of mental disorder and physical disability has been mentioned in this paper. Also, an ecological perspective in interventions of disabled people was emphasized. The examination of the comprehensive study of physically and mentally disabled people has revealed the following :
First, the study elucidated problems for the comprehensive approach in both fields. Second, three aspects of similarity in order to include the mental disorder in existing boundary of disability has been indicated in terms of chronical properties of disability, classification by WHO, and direction of rehabilitation services. Third, ecological perspective for comprehensive and continuous management in interventions of disability was underlined. This approach would provide more adaptible method for social work activity.
