    The purpose of this study was to develop instructional materials for the convergence class using Python and to investigate the effect of it on the learning of the concept of evolution as well as the attitude toward evolution of high school students. For the study, the programs for the convergence classes such as Life Science, Information & Computer, and English using Python were developed. The test of evolution concept and attitude toward evolution for checking interest, cognition and perception, need for instruction on classes about biological evolution were also developed and administered before and after the classes. Interview questions were developed and applied to 140 high school seniors. The subjects were divided into three groups: the one group consists of 45 students who did not deal with anything, another group of 46 instructed by lecture-style classes using textbooks, and the other group of 49 taught with the developed convergence classes. As results, instructional programs using Python were developed and confirmed that it was effective in learning the concept of evolution. The attitude toward evolution of the class had been effective in the cognition in evolution and the need for instruction. We expect that more effective instructional materials for inquiry and activity based convergence classes for learning science could be developed and applied to future science classes.
