도덕교육의 효율성 제고를 위한 도덕교육방법 연구 = 도덕과 교육방법의 체계화를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

도덕과 교육의 방법측면은 교사가 다른 도덕적 지식을 가진 자에 비해 상대적으로 전문성을 인정받는 분야이며, 실제 도덕교육이 학교에서 이루어질 때 매우 긴요하게 요구되는 분야임에도 불구하고, 그동안의 도덕과 교육의 방법은 도덕과의 성격이나 목표 그리고 내용에 비해 소홀히 다루어진 바가 적지 않다. 그 이유로는 크게, 도덕교육의 목표에 대한 수많은 도덕교육학자들의 주장들에 대한 구분을 짓는 노력이 부족했고, 도덕교육의 목표를 직접적으로 추구하는 도덕교육의 방법과, 도덕교육이 원활히 이루어지도록 지원을 하는 일반적 교육 및 수업전략들이 혼재되어 있었기 때문이다. 이 논문은 이러한 두 가지 측면에서, 그리고 차기교육과정에서 요구하는 도덕과 교육의 교육목표와 내용에 비추어, 도덕교육의 방법을 체계화 하는데 그 주안점을 두었다. 따라서 차기 교육과정에서 나타난 도덕과 교육의 목표에 따라 도덕과 교육방법도 덕목중심의 교육방법과 판단력 중심의 도덕교육으로 체계화하고, 도덕교육에 영향을 주는 일반 교육학의 교수학습이론과 도덕과 교수방법, 그리고 그 상세한 수업운영기술을 반영하는 도덕과 교수전략으로 나누어 체계화 하려 한다.

Even though one of the core domains of moral education studies is the methodology of moral instruction, the inquiry of moral educational methods has somewhat unobserved. Because of the ebb and flow of moral educational theories with the lapse of time, and of the confusion between general teaching methods and detailed instructional strategies, the study of moral educational methods has difficulty in developing an efficient system to help teachers of moral education to structure his/her class. This paper focuses on the systemization of moral educational methods according to next national curriculum in two points: first, the categorization of moral educational methods from general instructional methods and detailed instructional strategies; and second, the establishment of a dyadic structure composed of virtue-centered moral educational method and decision-centered moral educational method.
