The purpose of this study is to identified trend of studies and to analyzed the research related to unmarried single childrearing mothers.
Recently, Unmarried single childrearing mothers are increasing inspite of burden on childrearing. They live with economic and socio-psychologic difficulty.
The qualitative studies on unmarried single childrearing mothers were on process of life , process of rearing decision and experiences of unmarried single childrearing mothers .
The main category of their experiences was to 'Overcoming prejudice and forming self-identity as baby's mother' The process of improvement was divided into 'avoidance period' and 'self-leading period.' Unmarried single mothers's child rearing experiences were grouped 'negative neighbors' eyes',
