인터넷 사용이 직무특성의 변화와 직무성과에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of the Internet Usage on the Changes in Job Characteristics and Work Outcomes

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The study tested the relative effects of the internet usage on the changes in job characteristics and work outcomes. The study facilitated a survey of `Internet Usage at Workforce` for 1,800 white-collar employees from 46 industries in Korea by internet use. Hierarchical regression analysis was utilized as a statistical tool. The study results showed that internet usage positively affected on the changes in job characteristics and work outcomes by internet use. The study results also showed that non-work-related internet usage was not found to have significant effects on the changes in job characteristics and work outcomes. Based on these results, this study supports the optimistic perspective on information technology under the condition of work-related internet usage. This study suggests that special in-service training programs be developed to enhance internet skills. This study also suggests that information management systems be facilitated to control non-work-related internet use at work time.
