Zhouyi and Zheng-Yi have numbers with different points of view and it is a task of great significance to understand the meanings of each number. Otherwise, understanding the system of the moral doctrine of Changes (Yeok-Do) can be very misleading. The Zhouyi and Zheng-Yi mention the number of the Have Not Position, the number of the Thing in Itself (Zung-Su), the number of Heaven and Earth, the number of the 10 Heavenly Stems and the 12 Earthly Branches, the number of Yin and Yang as function of the 10 Heavenly Stems, the number of Hetu-Luoshu, the number of Hexagrams, the number of accounts, the number of Designate Finger, the number of one full year, the number of DoJangSu, the number of order, and so on.
Among the various numbers, the number of Have Not Position shows HwaOngMuWeeOneCheonHwa which can be seen as the being of the Root (primary unit). The number of the Thing in Itself (Zung-Su) and the number of Heaven and Earth, considered as the part of the thing in itself to the individual beings. The number of the 10 Heavenly Stems and the 12 Earthly branches show the significance of the existence of the 10 Heavenly Stems and the 12 Earthly branches mathematically.
Furthermore, the number of Yin and Yang as a function of the 10 Heavenly Stems represents a function of Yin and Yang from the 10 Heavenly Stems, and Doshusangshu is the number of Hetu-Luoshu, the number of Hexagrams can be explained as the linked between Hexagrams and the number of Hetu-Luoshu. After calculating the number of Have Not Position and the number of Hetu-Luoshu, it shows the number of accounts. The number of Designate Finger is defined an each of the 10 Heavenly Stems and the 12 Earthly branches and a divination sign that stays in a finger. The number of one full year shows the length of physical time. DoJangSu is a quantity of acting number, the number of order defines the order.
