우리는 왜 갈등을 전환하여야 하는가? = 갈등전환의 필요성과 유용성

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 갈등전환이 갈등관련 기존 접근법들과 다른 새로운 것인가와 갈등을 다루는데 있어서 기존 접근법들 보다 나은 방법들을 제시하고 있는가와 같은 두 가지 질문에 대한 답을 제공하고자 하였다. 갈등이 전환이 무엇이며 기존의 갈등 관리와 해소 접근법과는 어떻게 다른 것인가에 대한 논의를 위해 본 연구는 우선 갈등전환에 대한 개념화가 어떻게 이루어져왔는지를 세 가지 관점에서 정리하고, 갈등전환의 목표, 측면 및 유형에 대해 살펴보았다. 이어서 갈등전환의 특성으로 갈등에 대한 긍정적 지향과 건설적 변화, 갈등에 대한 장기적 접근, 갈등에 대한 총체적 접근 및 갈등에 대한 다수준적 접근 등을 제시하였다. 또한 갈등전환의 유용성에 대해 기존 접근법들의 한계 극복과 더불어 Win-Win 형태의 협력적 갈등해결방식으로의 변화와 갈등의 근본적 해결등 세 가지 차원에서 논의하였다. 마지막으로, 이상의 논의의 시사점과 함께 향후 연구방향에 대해 제시하였다.
