춤의 언어화, 문서화, 기록보관을 둘러싼 담론의 역사적 변화과정에 대한 연구 = A Study on the Discourse of Verbalization, Documentation, and Archiving Dance

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigates the historical change of the discourse on dance writing, in which the tension between the ephemeral nature of dance and literary practice of writing contributes the conception of dance scholarship. The traditional dance studies with the modernist theories considers the ephemerality of dance to be overcome in order to acquire literacy, whereas the new dance studies with postmodern positions focuses on the paradigm of the way dance is written. Challenging the idea of objective and academic writing practice, the new dance studies embraces experimental narrative styles such as fictionalization of dance history, which incorporates subjectivity, memory, and imagination.
