This paper have investigated the relationship between the child's perception of their parent's powert and child's sex-role identification which is major factor in child's personal andsocial development.
This study was based on 204 children in grades 6 who lives in Seoul. They were question in February, 1989.
Statistical methods used for the analysis of the data were Frequency, Percentage, and x^2-test.
The result derived from the data can be summarized as follows:
1. Family power structure have been changed; Their is no child who checked in father dominent.
2. In sex-role identification, girl are more adaptable in andrginy than boys do.
3. Mother's education is a dominent factor in child's androgynous sex role identification.
4. The more the child perceived their family as syncratic, the more androgyny.
